We all strive for a strong, healthy immune system to keep us well. While there is no “quick fix” or “magic bullet” for wellness, the traditional use of essential oils can be beneficial and supportive to help combat colds and flu anytime. Here’s a list of favorite ARLYS essential oils that are frequently used either as single oils, in a blend, in a diffuser or with complimentary essential oils for respiratory issues:
Basil, Cinnamon, Clove, Eucalyptus (all), Fir, Helichrysum, Lavender, Lavender-Spike, Lemon, Melissa, Niaouli, Orange, Oregano, Peppermint, Pine, Ravensara, Ravintsara, Spruce, Tea Tree, and Thyme.
Immune Boosting Blend
● 4 drops Eucalyptus radiata ● 6 drops Lemon ● 10 drops Lavender
● 15 drops Niaouli ● 15 drops Balsam Fir.
This is a wonderful stock blend to have on hand during the cold and flu season. Add 8-12 drops to a diffuser, or add 6 drops of Immune Boosting Blend to a 1 oz. carrier oil such as Jojoba oil for children and the elderly. You can use this blend in a pocket inhaler, bath salts/bath oil, and a massage oil.
